Your dissertation is an opportunity to select an area of personal interest that you want to study in greater depth. This may be linked to an aspect of your placement or your future career pathway or this could be a chance to conduct small scale research. Your dissertation will link aspects of substance use to treatment options, exploring this in the context of national and local strategy and service provision. You will also be able to critically analyse your practice experience in the context of the literature and current research.
