In this module you will learn how to plan and conduct simple ecological investigations according to recognised scientific conventions. You will learn field observation and identification skills together with a range of methods and sampling strategies for gathering and analysing ecological data.

  • Independent small group research project


  • Field research report, 2,000 words (50%)
  • Research poster presentation (50%)
