On this module you will acquire basic counselling skills and use them in a relationship with a role-play client. We will discuss the factors that influence an appropriate counselling environment. Through this process you will also begin to develop an awareness of yourself and be able to identify the practical and ethical issues necessary to create a safe environment in which counselling can take place, including appropriate boundaries.
