Extended Translation Project

Module code: TS7038

In this module, we will explore how to manage sizeable lengths of translation. You will learn and use different translation strategies as appropriate to solve translation issues, and manage and translate a text of considerable length. Undertaking this module, you will gain invaluable experience in managing your own translation project, and will be supported via frequent meetings with your project supervisor – giving you opportunities to discuss in detail your translation. You will also critically reflect on the translation of your own chosen text in a specialised field.
