What is the social make-up of criminal offenders and victims? What is the relationship between gender, crime offenders and victims, and how is this impacting our society?

You’ll be using local and national crime victim surveys to look at the limitations and difficulties that arise when measuring crime impact, and how we can interpret this information. Analysis of the current policy towards crime victims, and the agencies which offer support for them, will help you to critique the effectiveness of strategies designed to mediate between offenders and victims of crime.
