In this module we will learn some beautiful theoretical results which will help us to compute integrals and sums that would be otherwise much more difficult. The central result is Cauchy's closed curve theorem, which says that the integral of a differentiable function around a closed curve is zero. The module will explore the consequences of this theorem, the main one  being Cauchy's residue theorem. This will be used to do some sophisticated calculations.
