This module explores the key techniques in trace evidence analysis. You will learn about the recovery and enhancement of latent fingerprints and delve into the analysis of various trace evidence like hair, fibre, paint, and soil. The module also covers the examination of glass, footwear marks, tool marks, and DNA. You will be introduced to blood pattern analysis and will also learn how to analyse gunshot residue and questioned documents.
