How can a random group of people come together and achieve organisational goals? This module introduces you to the theory and practice behind the behaviour of businesses and organisations.
At the end of this module, you'll be able to describe the influence of individual ability and personality on work-related behaviours. You'll be adept at discussing key principles of motivation and job satisfaction. You'll feel comfortable analysing the forces affecting group processes and performance. You'll be proficient at assessing the advantages and disadvantages of different organisational structures, particularly referencing organisational contingencies. Plus, you'll be able to examine the culture of an organisation and its role.
