Module code: MN2108
You could say that business is like a game of chess. Business leaders need to think many moves ahead, and the wrong call can lead to disaster. That's why the right plan at the top is so important, and this module will introduce you to some of the key principles behind strategy.
You'll look at the conventional frameworks for conceptualising and enacting strategy, and their historical and cultural origins. You'll apply these to practical examples and evaluate their limitations. You'll use that to develop more theoretically and practically nuanced alternatives. Plus, you'll critically reflect on the implications of strategy discourse and practice on stakeholders.
