Generalised Linear Models

Module code: MA4201

This module will provide an introduction to the generalised linear model. It presents the methods of estimation of the linear model parameters and how to fit generalized linear models to data sets. This module will focus on developing your understanding of how statistical models explain variation, and demonstrate how to use R to analyse data using the GLM. You will apply your knowledge and deepen your understanding by investigating a particular area in this area, with guided project supervision, and produce a written project report outlining your results.
