Radio Systems

Module code: EG7021

In this module, you will learn about a wide range of radio system applications (e.g. target location, i.e. radar, and navigation, i.e. GPS) and develop knowledge of their modes of operation, the equipment requirements and limitations and the relevant radio propagation mechanisms. You will also learn to calculate and comment on the important design and operational parameters of several of the systems discussed in the module. You will also extend your knowledge of, and your ability to apply, the basic underlying physical and other principles of wireless communication systems.
