This module introduces a range of critical issues relating to the study of violence. You will be encouraged to draw together and make sense of both theoretical and practical aspects of violence and violent conduct. This will include the critical study of: interpersonal violence, state sponsored violence, urban violence and gang-related violence. You will also be encouraged to understand the impact of violence from the perspective of the offender, victim and wider society.
