Understanding Criminological Research

Module code: CR2019 (double module)

This module will help you to understand criminological design and research methods, through the process of devising your own research project. You'll be able to define and distinguish between key methodological concepts and identify the key research questions that inform these concepts. You'll be able to critically analyse the methodological approaches taken in published criminological studies, and assess their validity.

Ultimately, you will enhance your ability to solve ethical and practical research problems by proposing alternative strategies.
