Real World Research

Module code: SY3101

This module offers the opportunity to engage in research based learning through involvement in real world research projects as they happen. You will be paired with either an academic, or a local employer/organisation to work on a research project. You will gain insight into research as a colleague and/or a co-researcher and contribute, as a junior author, to a research manuscript.

  • 2 hours of lectures
  • 20 hours of project supervision
  • 8 hours of practical classes/workshops
  • 420 hours of guided independent study
