Criminology is the multi-disciplinary study of crime, criminals and the criminal justice system. It is informed by a wide variety of perspectives (social, philosophical, political), helping you to develop a contextual understanding of the law.

You will have access to a wide variety of material relating to the phenomena of crime and the criminal justice system, which will lead you to produce a well-researched piece of written coursework. This module will expand your criminological imagination, and will help you to evaluate a variety of theoretical criminological frameworks.
