Competition Law and Policy

Module code: LW3210

Competition law examines the legal framework for regulating restrictive agreements, mergers, monopolies and anti-competitive practices in the United Kingdom. It then considers how similar issues, together with public undertakings and the control of state intervention, are regulated by EU law. By discussing the economic and political background surrounding competition law and policy you'll develop a better understanding on this topic, and will go on to draw comparisons with US antitrust law.
