Aerodynamics and Aircraft Systems

Module code: EG2422

This is a specialist Aerospace Engineering module where you'll learn how to calculate the behaviour of airflow around an aircraft to predict the lift and drag. You'll be able to calculate how the dimensions and shape of the wing effect performance using simple mathematical equations, and will be able to explain where more advanced or detailed methods are needed. There will also be a focus on the mechanical systems of an aircraft, such as the undercarriage, fuel and hydraulic systems.
