Student and Library Information Services
The Student and Library Information Services provides a 'one stop' physical and virtual information desk for all student services and support. This includes online, telephone and other virtual support and enquiries alongside service points on the ground floor of the David Wilson Library and on floor 2 in the Percy Gee Students Union.
Support and enquiries
Student and Library Information Services can help with the following enquiries:
- Using the Library; access to the Library; requesting; finding and borrowing books and journals, both print and digital; booking group study rooms and other spaces within the David Wilson Library; other Library services and resources like the Academic Skills Centre for study support
- Student ID cards; fee and finance enquiries; visas and ID checks; requesting letters; updating your personal details and awarding documents; enquiries, appointment booking and check-in for student welfare, careers and visa and immigration support, check-in for student counselling and wellbeing appointments
- Employers can verify a candidate's qualifications by requesting a reference
- Enquiries, appointment booking and check-in for student welfare, careers, Unitemps, and visa and immigration support, check-in for student wellbeing appointments
- Online support is available through our Ask us a Question service which includes our online chat service
Information desks
Our information desks are open:
- Ground floor David Wilson Library: 8.00am to 9.00pm Monday to Friday; 9.00am to 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday
- Second floor Percy Gee Students Union: 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
