The Centre for Historical Archaeology

Events

We hold a regular fortnightly Monday lunchtime seminar during term-time. These seminars are informal and interdisciplinary forums to present research on any material culture aspects of the recent or contemporary past, from historical, art historical, museum studies, oral history, and archaeological perspectives. We regularly invite speakers from across the University of Leicester, as well as from further afield, ranging from Masters students to senior academics.

If you want to get involved in giving or organising the lunchtime seminar, especially if you are a postgraduate, please get in touch. You can follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook for more information on forthcoming talks.
