Guidance for students who have coronavirus symptoms or have tested positive

  • Do not come to campus if you are unwell
  • Fill in the online form
  • Self-isolate

Please ensure your contact details are up to date in the event we need to contact you or pass your details to NHS track and trace.

Students have a collective responsibility, a duty of care, to follow the steps set out in this guidance. Failure to do so will place staff, students, visitors and the local community at an increased risk of infection. You are able, without fear of reprisal, to report instances to Health and Safety or Student Support Services; or Staff Health and Wellbeing, where you believe this guidance is not being complied with. PGR students can contact their line manager.

If you develop any symptoms of coronavirus or have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms, do not attend campus. Follow Government guidance.

You must self-isolate and if you have symptoms, request a test or call 119.

If you have a pre-existing health condition, please contact your GP by phone for advice. See the NHS guidance.
