English Exam Preparation Classes

Scholarships for IELTS classes for refugees and asylum seekers who need a higher level of English (entry requirement: IELTS 5.0 overall minimum)

Scholarships for OET classes for qualified medics (doctors and nurses) who already have a good level of English (preferably IELTS 6.0 overall)

OET (Occupational English Test) is a four-skill exam now accepted by the NMC and GMC as part of the registration process. This course will provide training in all four skills, as well as language work and timed practice, in order to provide candidates with the best possible chance of achieving the ‘B’ grade they need.

Help with course-related costs

We are working with a charity called RefuAid, who help refugees and asylum seekers who are on our Presessional, IELTS and OET courses with the following things:

  • Exam fees for IELTS or OET
  • Travel expenses to the classes
  • Course materials, if needed

If you would like to apply for this support, you need to fill in their application form. They will then give you a call to introduce themselves and explain how they can support you.

RefuAid also provide Requalification and Employment support. They can give you advice and guidance about requalifying in your profession and /or accessing employment in your field. If you are interested in this, you need to contact Mohib on
