- Provide an overview of the sound system of English
- Explore the segmental and suprasegmental features of English pronunciation
- Use phonemic transcription as an aid to learning
- Use terms and concepts associated with phonology as an aid to analysis
- Compare and contrast features of English pronunciation with the student’s first language
Who are these modules for?
- These modules are open to all Erasmus and Study Abroad students for university credits
- Students are expected to have a level of English of: CEFR C1
- This course is intended for students with little or no previous knowledge of phonemics
