Integration of professional skills

Our group has spent over a decade transforming professional skills training for chemistry undergraduates. This approach has been underpinned by the development of skills maps that allow students and staff to recognise key milestones on the student journey from induction to graduation. This work has been supported by industrial partners and research outputs have demonstrated the impact that these approaches have had on student perceptions of the value of transferable skills.
