Dr Claire Blackmore
Academic Clinical Lecturer
I graduated from the University of York with a BSc in Psychology before studying medicine at the University of Warwick. After completing two foundation years, I chose to specialise in public health and currently hold the position of Academic Clinical Lecturer at the University of Leicester, as well as working as a public health specialty registrar in the East Midlands. My research interests are in pandemic preparedness and response, as well as prison health. I am currently working on a project with the University of Leicester and local stakeholders in using a saliva-based test for COVID-19.
