In celebration of Black History Month we have put together a showcase of our outstanding black athletes from the Team Leicester community. These individuals have been nominated by committee members from their sports club based on their contribution to their respective sport and the sporting success which they have achieved regionally and nationally in competitions.

A Guide to Supporting Black Students Mental Health

A discussion hosted by Oge Obioha, co-founder of Minds of People of Colour. This session explores Black identity at University, vulnerability, the strong Black woman trope, as well as how to support your Black friends and peers. The aim is to empower students with the tools to recognise and identify Black trauma, and healthy ways to navigate this through the violence presented during your years in Higher Education.
