Our Members' Research
The Africa Research Group at the University of Leicester acts as a centripetal force for an institution-wide cohort of academics with a range of specialisms and research interests. Cohort members will be primarily University of Leicester academic and research staff, although PhD and PGRs are also part of the network. The Africa Research Group will aim for its members to build new collaborations, to participate in new grant applications and research projects and to develop new research networks and partnerships with HEIs, research centres and researchers in the UK and Africa.
Students are welcome to attend Group events and seminars. This invitation is also open to members of the local community and the public at large. The Africa Research Group will aim to co-create with external partners as well.
