Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer
Danielle Fitzgerald, is a global marketer with over 15 years’ experience working within Higher Education, from running a small student counsellor business in Reunion France, to working on large scale projects institutional partnerships for RMIT University in Melbourne Australia, Danielle has worked all over the world and for different types of organisations that have brought a wealth of experience to draw on.
Danielle joined the University of Leicester in July 2019 and lead the Future Students Office till May 2020, when she took up the role of Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer (Interim), during her tenure at the helm of the Future Student’s Office she has supported University projects, such as the 5 year student number planning, implementation of quarterly planning with Colleges and driven automation within the student recruitment journey.
Danielle’s focus is always ensuring the student is at the heart of everything that the University of Leicester does and in her new role looks after 5 departments across the University:

- Communications and Engagement
- Attenborough Arts Centre
