Rhiannon Jenkins

Rhiannon joined Council in July 2021, following her election as President of Leicester Students’ Union. Rhiannon studied English at Leicester, with a year abroad at Queen’s University, Canada, entering undergraduate studies in 2017.

In her role as SU President, Rhiannon represents over 15,000 students on matters of democracy and governance. Her work covers engagement, transparency and this year will focus on addressing the cost of living crisis facing students. 

Rhiannon sits on the Finance & Infrastructure committee as a part of Council, as well as the University’s Alumni Association Committee and the Union’s board of trustees.
