Climate Change: Ethics, Issues, Justice

Module code: PL3140

The politics behind climate change are some of the most critical and contentious of our time. You'll look at the questions and debates surrounding our impact on our home planet.

You'll look at the key theoretical and ethical issues and arguments associated with climate change, and get the chance to analyse regulation and policy using a philosophical framework. You'll assess the relationship between philosophical thinking about climate change and broader issues in political philosophy and applied ethics, and think critically, analytically, and conceptually about environmental justice.
