As the economy changes over time, so does the employment relationship. This module will allow you to look closer at this through an industrial relations perspective and compare it to the view from human resources. This will help to inform your work moving forward.

You'll look at the involvement of trade unions in skills development, and critically evaluate the concepts of 'partnership'. You'll also discuss the concept of 'employability' in the context of changing trade union strategy.
