Spacecraft are now critical to everyday life, providing communication and navigation capability around the world, as well as allowing us to explore other planets.

Leicester has a long history of building instruments for exciting and famous space missions. In this module you'll learn how to produce simple designs for all the main sub-systems on a typical spacecraft and mission, from the orbital mechanics through to the power and thermal sub-systems. This module will use examples from missions, technologies and research conducted at Leicester.
