Varsity 2024
Varsity is back!
The biggest University sporting contest in the city will see the University of Leicester and De Montfort University battle it out to be crowned 2024 Varsity Champions. Over 40 University of Leicester sports teams compete in 20 different sports across six days.
It all kicks off on Friday 15 March 2024 with hockey and futsal, who will contest for the first points of the series. The competition culminates on Tuesday 20 March 2024, where the University of Leicester hope to remain undefeated and claim their 22nd Varsity win.
Launch event
Come along to the SU on Thursday 14 March 2024 from 12.00pm to help us launch Varsity 2024. Enjoy activities and performances and be sure to take a selfie with our famous mascot Gary the Griffin!
