Exchange students

Each year we welcome around 500 exchange students from worldwide partners. Our Study Abroad and Erasmus+ programmes enable international students to study undergraduate classes alongside University of Leicester degree-seeking students for either one semester or one year. You can apply to study in Leicester and earn credits to take back to your home university.

Through our Study Abroad programme, students can apply to Leicester on exchange from one of our international partner universities, or as fee-paying students from an overseas university.

Erasmus+ allows students coming to us on exchange from one of our Erasmus+ partner universities throughout Europe.

We are a global university, with over 25% of our full-time, campus-based students coming from more than 110 different countries.
