Admissions Tutor
I’m a graduate of LMS who remained in the area for postgraduate training and I now work as a Consultant Physician at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. I have been an admissions tutor at LMS for the last 8 years.

Professor Richard Holland

Head of Leicester Medical School
I specialise in Public Health and my research covers pharmacy practice and substance misuse. I joined Leicester Medical School in 2017 and have overseen the implementation of our new curriculum and the Foundation year course - widening participation to medicine.

Dr Margaret Barnes-Davies

Admissions Lead
In addition to my role in admissions, I lead the Cardiovascular Unit and teach on various aspects in Phase 1 of the course.

GP Admissions Tutor and Clinical Lecturer for Medicine (Foundation Year)
I am a GP partner in a local surgery, I teach on the Medicine with Foundation Year and I lead one of the GP Academies that deliver GP teaching for the Medical School.

Dr Jane Goodfellow

Associate Professor in Medical Education
I teach across Phase 1 of the medicine course and lead the renal and urinary teaching. I am also the lead for recruitment and outreach for the Medical School.
