Our library is home to an extensive collection of rare books, manuscripts, historical photographs, institutional and personal archives, for all to use in study, research or for general interest.
'So that they may have life': University heritage project
Taking place between 2019-2021, this community project was run by the University’s Archives and Special Collections team and a group of dedicated volunteers.
The project explored the story of the founding and early history of the University of Leicester, making exciting new discoveries about the people and events that made our University.
